Garden of Remembrance

In the corner on the south side of the church, enclosed by wrought iron railings, is the Garden of Remembrance. The cremated remains of departed members of the congregation may be interred in this pretty garden.

A short paper by the previous Rector explains why we pray for the dead, and why we have a long tradition of doing so: Praying for the Christian Departed in Scottish Episcopacy (.pdf)
